Welcome to Birdsong Kyoto.
English and music time, to enjoy together.
Sing, move, and connect — a musical home for families, born here in Kyoto.
An officially licensed Music Together® program, loved by families worldwide.
Out of respect for every child’s privacy, we tell our story through illustration rather than photographs.
A gentle place to grow together
Absorbing English naturally
Within song and rhythm, the sounds and words of English reach the ear gently — never drilled, always natural.
A place for parents, too
Meet families in the same season of life — a warm community that becomes your ibasho.
Connection over perfection
You need not sing well. For your child, music time with you is the greatest treasure.
Music is a language we are all born with.
Birdsong Kyoto is a parent-and-child program based on the Music Together® curriculum. In our mixed-age classes, children from birth to five share one room and enjoy music at their own pace — wrapped in English song, growing rich time together as a family.
[Teacher name]
[Teacher bio goes here.] Share how music came into their life, their hopes for every child, and their experience — in warm, personal words that make families want to come and meet them.
Spring 10-Week Session
Small classes. Ten unhurried weeks, moving through the season together.
A class, start to finish (45 min)
The same comforting rhythm each week — so your child can relax into it.
Two languages, one warm room.
For families from abroad
A gentle doorway into raising children in Kyoto — somewhere English feels like a relief, and where you meet other parents living the very same everyday.
For families in Japan
Where your child meets English early and naturally — never exam-drill English, never pressure. When you need it, bilingual staff are right beside you.
Loved by families around the world
